Meals to You Program overview:

1. Meals to You, a Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), delivers free 5-day breakfast and lunch meal boxes to eligible students in participating rural school districts.

2. 30 rural school districts are enrolled, verifying students’ enrollment in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).

3. The Meals to You Student Application is open April 1-30, 2025. Boxes will be delivered weekly from early June until the start of the fall school year.

5. Once verification occurs by the school district representatives in the application portal the students are officially enrolled in the program

6. In the month of May the Food Bank of Alaska will be sending a confirmation letter to the mailing address given on the application

7. Boxes are scheduled to start arriving the first week of June and continue until school starts in the fall
